Of course, we just received this tip from one of our faithful readers, regarding Pastor Brenda Timberlake losing her home, but we thought we would post it anyway, because we feel it is so very important for you to understand that church leaders experience some of the worst disasters, also. We all must acknowledge this fact, because so many times some church members think ministers of God's Word have an easier way to go, but that is not always true. Although, there maybe some who may hide their personal struggles while enjoying their fame and fortune, there are some whom are humble and honest enough to admit the tragedies or disasters they have experienced in life.
As you know, this sudden news about Pastor Brenda Timberlake losing her home because of an fire, is not the first time she has refused to give up. She lost her husband, Bishop Mack Timberlake on January 29, 2002, but she still stands strong carrying on his vision at Christian Faith Center, in Creedmoor, NC. Bishop Mack Timberlake was only 52 years old when he died of cancer. She continued to lead his church, after accepting the fact he was gone to heaven. So, we know after facing that previous situation of losing her husband and best-friend, she will continue to stand strong after losing her home.
Yes, please recognize pastors endure a lot of pain and they are still human like all of the rest of us. This is why we must continue to pray for them, after they endure such disasters or even tragedies and any other time. In the meantime, we will keep Pastors Brenda and Tim Timberlake in our prayers.
