When looking for a practical daily vehicle, Lamborghini may not be the first name that comes to mind. But the company wants to change all that with a concept car Urus unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. Intended to take the whole line of new products and take advantage of the popularity of SUVs, Urus concept cars to maintain aerodynamic lines that aim to provide practicality as a family car.
Lamborghini is one of the pioneers of super-luxury SUV segment with its LM002 "Rambo-Lambo" produced from 1986 to 1992. While the design, reflecting the square root of the military angle LM002 - LM001 original prototype was designed with the hope of attracting the interest of the U.S. military - the line features of Urus more aerodynamic design made popular by later to the SUV segment.

Low weight of vehicles, coupled with a low center of gravity height variable and the bodyshell is designed to deliver impressive handling, while the height-adjustable front spoiler aid in obstacle clearance. This, together with the deflector at the top edge of the rear windshield that deflects the air flow along the glass front to rear adjustable spoiler, designed to allow the aerodynamic balance of the car to be adjusted to suit the driving conditions.

With just a paddle shift dual-clutch transmission for which is located behind the wheel, indicators, lights and windshield wiper controls incorporated into the multifunction steering wheel or center console.
Reflects the aspirations of family friendly vehicles, there are four seats with plenty of room for luggage or shopping bags. It measures 1.99 m (6.53 ft) wide and, sitting on a 24-inch, very little lower than its competitors at only 1.66 m (5.45 ft).
Although the vehicles in the show is just a concept, Lamborghini has given a strong indication of the vehicle will enter production. "Urus is a very concrete ideas for the future of Lamborghini - as a third model line, and as a perfect complement to our sports super car," says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
Lamborghini said it will target markets in the U.S., Britain, Germany, Russia, Middle East and China (with the Urus... and given the launch took place, the latter is clearly seen as an important market for luxury SUVs).
