Celebrity Preacher, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Internal and External Philosophy in the Black Church: What happened to preaching against sin?

After watching Bishop T. D. Jakes yesterday we learned a lot about having a changed mind.  During his sermon, he mentioned that old church were more about the external and that was teaching the church to look and dress holy.  Respectively, we have videos to prove that is untrue, simply because back in those days many preachers preached more about sin than today.   In our opinion, Bishop Jakes is a very good motivational speaker, getting people to come out of negative habits.  However, after hearing the testimonies of two women who died and went to hell, they both heard Jesus Christ tell them, He desired for today's church to go back to the old church.   Therefore, if it was more about the external, why does Jesus Christ prefer the old time church, more than today's church?

When we listened to the testimonies of Ministers Bernada Fernandez and Angelica Zambrano, they both mentioned Jesus does not like how the church is behaving in so many words and both of those video clips can be found on our videos page.  Therefore, the (black)church years ago was more about righteousness and living holy, which included both the internal and the external.

If you are 35 years or older, you can recall when preachers in the black church and even the white ministers used to preached against sin.   That's another subject Jesus Christ mentioned to Mary K Baxter.  He was angry that preachers were not preaching what He told them to, according His Word.  That testimony can also be heard on our videos page.   It is very scary to hear Bishop Jakes or any other preacher claim that preachers in the old time church used to focus more on the external, because if you will listen to the first Pentecostal preacher on our videos page, Apostle Johnnie Washington, you will find that to be false.   Apostle Washington and various other preachers preached against sin, holy living and also looking holy.   Yes, we are all for changing the mindset, but our souls must be cleansed from iniquity and we must reveal the light of Jesus Christ, after He has cleansed us from all unrighteousness.  We feel it all must be preached, for we are living in an age when little children are changing their sexual identity, something we did not see back in previous years.   We as children knew what we were and we did not question it neither did we request our parents to change our sexual identity.   We are living in a very dangerous age, too dangerous to not to be obedient to Jesus Christ request that we go back to the old way of having church and holy living. 

Of course, we cannot deny we feel motivated every time we listened to Bishop T. D. Jakes, but we cannot deny that he an alleged acquaintance of the president who condones gay marriage, which is against God's Word.   We wonder will we ever hear Bishop Jakes preach on these following scriptures?   Will we hear him admit his stance in the pulpit at The Potter's House or at any other church he preaches at?   Lastly, have souls been set free from homosexuality through the ministry of Bishop T.D. Jakes?  Years ago, the preachers of the black church were not afraid to publicly preach against homosexuality among other sins and they quoted these following scriptures, along with looking and dressing holy.

Note:  In all fairness during his sermon, Bishop Jakes did allegedly say, 'if you're not selling, keep it down.'   

Biblical Scriptures against Homosexuality 

•  1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 

• Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." 

• Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." 

• Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

Response To Article About Bishop T. D. Jakes and President Obama Leading The Way To Victory? Lost Souls in the Black Church

In response to a reader's comment about our previous article, 'Can We Expect Bishop T. D. Jakes To Publicly Oppose President Barack Obama's Same-Sex Marriage Agenda?  If Not, The Black Church Should Recognize Him as an Alleged False Prophet'.  We refuse to go to hell for black folks or any other race, so we will continue to tell the truth.  It is so sad, that this reader resides in the same state as a very powerful minister whom is so courageous to preach against same-sex marriage, Pastor Patrick L. Wooden.  This unidentified resident of Greenville, N. C. read our article and think these men are alright, having a good time and leading people to victory.  His soul is so out of touch with God, he does not even realize they both are allegedly leading many souls into eternal hell and damnation in our opinion.  

Dear SCR readers, the Bible clearly states how God feels about homosexuality.   It is not cruel, His expectations are out of love, because He hates sin and so do we.   Any child of God whom has been washed by the blood of the Lamb recognizes that this is not a civil rights issue, this is an issue of demonic forces rising up against God.  This is no time for African Americans to brush it off and think it is so cute for Bishop T. D. Jakes to be a cotton ball Christian in the presence of President Obama.  Respectively, neither men are leading people to victory, according to God's Word, because homosexuality is a sin, those whom would rather think of both men as heroes for the black race are very foolish, because many souls whom remain gullible will end up in the lake of fire, where it never quenches.


Time and time again, we have given you testimonies about how Minister Mary K. Baxter was one of the saints of God whom was chosen by Jesus Christ to go on a tour to hell.  She saw millions of skeletal bones reaching out for Jesus to save them from the flames.  They were crying and screaming to escape torment, these were not just homosexuals, but also gullible Christians and even ministers whom were afraid to obey God's voice, but rather be respected by mankind.   They were in hell and could not escape.   


We are clearly speaking to followers in the black church, it is time for you to stop glorifying these celebrity preachers like Bishop T. D. Jakes and glorify God.  God is calling for the black church to return to complete holiness.   When Jesus took Mary K. Baxter to hell and even the teen, Angelica Zambrano, she noticed many Christians were there for living double lives.   So, dear brothers and sisters of the black church, if you are double-minded, that is, saying you are a Christian, but remaining quiet about this issue while supporting President Barack Obama, you are simply living a double life.   You cannot say you love God and truly saved, but you congratulate to men, because they both are leading people to victory.   If you are that blinded, you are going to be led by demonic powers into hell, because neither individual is leading this nation to victory.  According to God's Word and Minister Mary K. Baxter's testimony, there was a reserved lake of fire for homosexuals whom once lived on earth.   They were screaming for Minister Baxter to tell their relatives not to go there.   So now, tell us Bishop T. D. Jakes and President Obama are leading people to victory.

Even if you are a member of a black church and they teach about unity, if certain people are not in agreement with God's Word that opposes homosexuality, you should not unite with them.  It is time for the black church to realize the only church that will be in heaven is not necessarily the black church, but only the church of pure holiness full of righteous souls of all races.  Let go of that black pride and turn to Jesus Christ before it is everlasting too late.  We all are just now finding out, it does not matter what race a president is, all that matters is if he believes in God's Word that condemns sin, including homosexuality.

Can We Expect Bishop T. D. Jakes To Publicly Oppose President Barack Obama's Same-Sex Marriage Agenda? If Not, The Black Church Should Recognize Him as an Alleged False Prophet

As we recall, Bishop T. D. Jakes has been in the spotlight with President Barack Obama and we feel he knew about his support for gays and lesbians all along.  Many of us were already upset about President Obama's prior support for the gay and lesbian community and we are surprised many black churches are finally upset about his decision.   This same-sex marriage public announcement is really nothing new, because we were already alarmed about previous news that informed us that he allegedly wanted homosexuals to be able to marry in the military.   Therefore, President Obama already had us praying and Bishop T. D. Jakes should have denounced his support for gays and lesbians, when we all learned about it.  Bishop T. D. Jakes is President Barack Obama's spiritual adviser, according to the Apostolic Friends Forum and we agree with the posts, he should resign from his position and no longer be President Barack Obama's spiritual adviser, if he agrees with God's Word that opposes homosexuality.


Possibly, this news of Bishop T. D. Jakes not yet publicly denouncing President Barack Obama could be a clear sign he is not called to preach.  He maybe gifted as movie producer, but to preach, absolutely not.  Because any real man or woman of God will oppose sin before the nation without shame without hesitation.   If any minister is ashamed of God's Word, then they are ashamed of Jesus Christ.  In Mark 8:38: 'Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.'   This simply means that although, we may receive a good sermon here or there from Bishop T. D. Jakes or any of the other celebrity preachers in the black church, he and none of the others may not be living what they preach, they are just what they are called, celebrity preachers.  In fact, what did the Bible tell us about false prophets in sheep's clothing?   In Matthew 7:15, 'Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.'  It is so scary, we are seeing a lot of these preachers in the black church expecting a huge following to yet sit in their pews, generously give their tithes and offerings that supports their lavish lifestyles, but they have not yet publicly denounced sin before the nation.  Children of God, we cannot expect of these celebrity pastors to publicly denounce the President of the United States if they were silent after he previously announced his support for gays and lesbians to marry in the military.  Furthermore, we think many of these pastors in the black church are very gullible, because if many of them have been mainly preaching the prosperity gospel for the past 20 years, they will be less likely to publicly denounce President Barack Obama's same-sex marriage agenda and preach against homosexuality.  Their anointing seems to have gone, they do not seem to have it like many black preachers back in the day before the 1990's decade.   They failed to recognize that always preaching about having nice homes, taking extravagant trips and driving Bentleys could never prepare them for such an evil time as this.  Many of these preachers whom have changed their churches into multimillion dollar corporations are just motivational speakers whom have turned God's House out into a place for capitol gain.  The black church has lost its' anointing and that same anointing does not just heal diseases and raises the dead, but it also shakes up demons whom rise up against the body of Christ, no matter who they are.   The Holy Ghost is the One whom is supposed to be guiding these preachers of any race to take authority and bind demonic forces, but after so many years of converting the majority of black churches into mega ministries, they have lost that power.


If Bishop T. D. Jakes, along with other well known preachers within the black church never publicly denounce President Barack Obama's same-sex marriage agenda, we as the true children of God must yet fast and pray.  We must continue to denounce sin while winning souls to Jesus Christ.   We cannot put our confidence in man, because as our Word tells us, they will fail us and in this case we cannot expect to ever trust alleged false prophets just because of their prominent status. In Philippians 3:3, it says: 'For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.'   Let us just recognize there are no weak men or women in the Kingdom of God and if these preachers in the black church or any other church refuse to publicly denounce President Barack Obama's support for same-sex marriage, then we must no longer support their ministries nor pay any attention to their sermons, but just pray for them.

How Can Celebrity Preacher, Bishop T. D. Jakes Allegedly Believe in Oneness and Trinity? It's Impossible

If you are have listened to Bishop T. D. Jakes sermons, you may recall how he has allegedly stated he is a minister who believe in Oneness, and not Trinity.   However, we ran across this article at the KY Post, which claims Bishop T. D. Jakes admits he believes in the Trinity.   As Christians, we are obligated to choose the right way or the wrong way and according to God's Word, it says, 'no man can serve to masters (Matthew 6:24).'  Therefore, if we believe what is right, it is God's way and then, the other way other than the Trinity is of the Devil.  We cannot believe Bishop T. D. Jakes suddenly believes in the Trinity, after so long of spreading his notion of Oneness, because that makes it seem like he is just trying to keep supporters on both sides in the Pentecostal church, whether they be Apostolic, COGIC, Full Gospel Baptist, AME or even Independent Holiness Churches.

We know God wants us as Christians to be straight forward, not seem like we are agree with right and wrong.  Celebrity Bishop T. D. Jakes seems to be speaking confusing the masses and it is not fair to God nor the body of Christ.   We are not dumb Christians, we know what Oneness means and we know what the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost means, the Trinity.   Our minds are not to be twisted by anyone, even if they have much power, fame and fortune like celebrity preacher, Bishop T. D. Jakes.   We do not want to follow a minister who claims to believe in one thing one moment, then another, the next, that is not being consistent in God's Kingdom, it is too confusing.   Therefore, we would like to understand Bishop T. D. Jakes, but cannot comprehend him claiming to be believe in different theologies.   God gave us this scripture, 'a false balance in abomination.'   Therefore, if we are not balanced in our thinking, we are sinning and offend God.   It is a false balance for any man or woman of God to say they believe in Oneness and the Trinity or just switch whenever it is convenient.  When we went to carm.org, we found this definition reveals Oneness theology denies the Trinity.  Therefore, Bishop T. D. Jakes must choose one way, which is correct, not both.  It is impossible for him or any other minister to embrace both sides just to make their financial supporters happy.   God expects us to not use alleged trickery in His Kingdom, just "so call" bridge the gap."  That term "bridging the gap" has already gotten the church in trouble in the gospel music industry circle, one would be foolish to think they could bring the gap when it comes to the two separate beliefs of Oneness and the Trinity, because the Trinity is the only way, there is no such a thing as anything else in God's Kingdom.

Celebrity Preacher, Bishop T. D. Jakes Is Preparing For His Interview With Oprah Winfrey, But Does He Consider How God Feels About His Celebrity Spotlight?

As we all have heard Oprah Winfrey allegedly denied Jesus Christ on one of her previous show, some years ago.   She disrespected the Son of God.  Therefore, why would Bishop T. D. Jakes even spend time being interviewed by her?   If he is truly a man of God, why would He sit in the accompany of a woman who claimed Jesus Christ is not the only way?  She clearly asked, 'what about Jesus', which you will see on this following video at the end of this post.   Furthermore, it is not just Bishop T. D. Jakes whom has offended God by befriending Oprah Winfrey, it is also the Bebe, Cee-Cee and Marvin Winans.  In the previous years, we have seen various prominent African Americans professed Christians appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show.  However, the names we just mentioned seem to befriend her and most often, lately, Bishop T. D. Jakes.    If he is a true man of God, he should recall this following scripture found in 2 Cor. 6:14: 'Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?' 


In the above scripture, God is not just talking about in marriage, He is also speaking of our friendships and in these era of extreme evil, also business.   Simply, because many people have chosen to deny Jesus Christ, we should have no fellowship in any sort of way with them.   Oprah Winfrey is one person who has sat with all sorts of unbelievers like herself, allegedly.  However, Oprah accompanying unbelievers is to be expected, but 'so-call' Christians should not desire to be seen with her.  Possibly, if she was not a household name, many of them probably would not even reserve time with her.   This is how much rich and famous celebrity Christians reveal their hypocrisy.   They will share their time with Oprah Winfrey, a woman who allegedly denied Jesus Christ, but they will not spend time with one who is homeless or living in ghetto.  They always say Jesus sat with the those whom had issues such as poverty, but the average rich and famous celebrity preacher like Bishop T. D. Jakes makes an effort to be seen with their celebrity friends like Oprah Winfrey.  Over the years, celebrity preachers and gospel artists have used that same excuse not to be holy and release restrictions within the body of Christ and it seems as though they are more excepted in the world.  These celebrity preachers like Bishop T. D. Jakes are accepted among the average celebrity like Oprah Winfrey, but we have not seen any change among them, after they mingle with them.  Specifically, Oprah Winfrey, have we heard her apologize before the nation for denying Jesus Christ as she sat debating with a born again believer years ago on her previous show?  Absolutely not, we have not heard her call a press conference and profess salvation and admit she is sorry to God and His Son, Jesus Christ for denying He is the only way.   Therefore, Bishop T. D. Jakes or any other "so-call" minister or gospel artists like the Winans family have no business in her accompany and they should not be our brothers and sisters in the Lord.


Another thing, when we heard Bishop T. D. Jakes on previous shows with Oprah Winfrey or Dr. Phil, has he ever asked them if they were born again Christians?   Absolutely not, we have not heard it.   You may say that's not the place for it, but let us assure you any place is the correct place to invite souls into God's Kingdom.     As soon as the true body of Christ watched this following previous clip on this video, after this show aired, we should have never seen the entire body of Christ pray for Oprah Winfrey, but not have anything else to do with her and this includes, celebrity preachers like Bishop T. D. Jakes.   His preparation for another meeting on the Oprah Winfrey show should be very offensive to those whom claim to love God and honor and worship His Son Jesus Christ with all of their hearts, minds and souls.

Did Bishop Eddie Long Learn Something From Bishop T. D. Jakes Last Sunday?

Okay, although we suspect that Bishop T. D. Jakes among other various famous ministers have been a part of the secret society of the Illuminati, it seemed as though he possibly has been doing some soul searching, because it appeared as though New Birth was finally having some real church, even better than when Bishop George Bloomer was there.   Usually, when people join New Birth or walk up toward the altar to get saved, the ushers will instantly lead them back to a room to sign membership papers, there is never an altar call.   How do we know?  A few of our journalists previously belonged to New Birth and so that is how we know.  Bishop Eddie Long never prays with newcomers up at the altar, never have we seen it.    No, there is never an altar call, is what we who know about the real church would call it.   You may see people rush up to the altar and bow down in general, but for Bishop Eddie Long to specifically pray souls through when they join or step up to get saved, never.  If you go to our video page, you will see how Apostle Johnnie Washington used to do it and how it is suppose to be.   When people first give there lives over to the Lord and surrender, any man or woman of God is suppose to pray those people through, to make sure they totally surrender and get set free.   


Last Sunday, the ushers pushed them back to the altar when they tried to exit out for new membership class, so Bishop T. D. Jakes could pray with them.    This was something we have never seen at New Birth.   He stood and spoke with them about leaving sin alone and surrendering their life to God.   The thought of rushing those new members and those who accepted Jesus Christ to sign papers became obsolete once Bishop T. D. Jakes was standing up before them. 

We question any ministry that does not believe in an altar call.   It is not understood why today's church is so modern and the preacher like Bishop Eddie Long just wants a corporate church, not taking time to pray with those at the altar. These rich pastors just want their church to be sophisticated and when they call themselves praying they call it, corporate prayer or they will say, "let's have a corporate praise."   The way Bishop T. D. Jakes had an altar call Sunday, it did not seem like today's average modern day church.   Bishop Jakes had those people up at the altar, shouting (dancing in the spirit), clapping their hands and crying out to God, something that Bishop Eddie Long and the other New Birth pastors have not done, we have never seen it.   Hopefully, he learned something and if they both have been alleged members of the Satanic Illuminati, we pray they both have gotten themselves right with God.  Furthermore, we hope it won't be the last time we see an altar call at New Birth.
