Bishop Thomas Weeks Allegedly Said Juanita Bynum Wanted to Be The Next Oprah: Really? Typing Tongues?

First of all, it is impossible for anyone to become someone else.   That's one main reason why a lot people crack up, because they cannot become someone else they were not born to be.   We heard on a prior interview with Bishop Thomas Weeks III on WOAK radio, Juanita Bynum had her focus on becoming the next Oprah.   Many of us did not pay attention when Bishop Thomas Weeks made that exact alleged statement, regarding Bynum wanting to be the next Oprah and you can hear it at the end of this article.   First, what happened to allowing God to make you great as only the person He created you to be?   Secondly, why would any true woman of God want to be a famous person in the secular world?   Possibly, Dr. Juanita Bynum is doing things that are strange like typing in tongues, because she is not happy with who she is as a person?  Reality has kicked in she can never be the next Oprah, because she is not Oprah she is only Juanita Bynum.

When God blesses us to be married to a fortunate man and vice versa, we are suppose to be grateful for who God made us to be.   Therefore, it sounds like from listening to this previous interview, Bishop Thomas Weeks could never enjoy Juanita Bynum; therefore, he was with a woman who stayed focus on becoming another woman, Oprah Winfrey who is not a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but a woman in showbiz.   Right there, one who is truly a child of God knows something is very peculiar about that.   Oprah has even allegedly denied Jesus Christ on her previous talk show.  So, why would Juanita Bynum as a so-call prophetess and woman of God want to be her or even like her?   First and foremost, it is unfair to God and even those who are spiritually fed through her sermons.  Any real man or woman of God should be winning souls, not focused on wanting to be someone else or measuring up to anyone else, God's Kingdom is about Him, not Oprah Winfrey or any other famous person who is idolized in the world, church or secular.

Again, like the late Zachery Tims, why couldn't Bishop T. D. Jakes help Dr. Juanita Bynum, (although, we know he is not to blame)?   How?   Make her realize she is only who she is, Juanita Bynum and she could never be Oprah or be like her.  She seems to need counseling and not while she is preaching God's Word, but taking a leave of absence for at least 5 years, because God's Kingdom should not be misrepresented by someone who has allegedly wished to become someone she is not.   In God's Kingdom, we need to have men and women of God who only enjoy being who God made them to be and teaching others to do the same.   Doesn't that seem logical?    We have already been dealing with Paula White who allegedly claims to be a black woman trapped inside of a white woman's body, another strange case.   Meanwhile in counseling, Juanita Bynum should learn there is no way to make it okay to type in tongues and she should also understand it was wrong for her to compare what she has typed on the internet to the words of Jesus Christ in God's Word.   After her counseling session, possibly there needs to be a personal apology to God for allegedly wanting to be Oprah Winfrey and then, a possibly an apology to her ex-husband Bishop Thomas Weeks for allegedly trying to make him accept someone other than herself.

Was Bishop Thomas Weeks Correct About His Calling Juanita Bynum A Femme Fatale from Movie?

Was Bishop Thomas Weeks Correct About His Calling Juanita Bynum A Femme Fatale from A Movie?

We wanted to respond to all of the talk about Dr. Juanita Bynum and her 'tongue typing' on Facebook recently. Apparently, our mother site, AT2W researched her Twitter and Facebook pages and found her responses to people's opposing positions about her trying to be like Jesus yet utter tongues via social media.

On AT2W's post Dr. Juanita Bynum’s Response to “Spiritual Bullies” And Accusations About Her ‘Texting in Tongues’, we found that Dr. Juanita Bynum is actually acting as the 'bully' by calling her followers names and trying to make herself look better than others. AT2W was able to find that she is very arrogant and engages in conversation with some of her opponents like a teenager online, if you will. She even sounds allegedly irrational and unstable.

We have found that this reminds of a news interview that her ex-husband Bishop Thomas Weeks III said about her. We wish we had a clip of the interview from the time when he was speaking out about his alleged physical abuse on Juanita Bynum several years ago.

In the interview he did with local news in Atlanta, which is no longer available, Bishop Thomas Weeks III stated Juanita Bynum was not allegedly stable emotionally and he called her "Brandi Webb" from a movie. If you do not know who Brandi Webb is, she was a character from a 1996 movie by Martin Lawrence called "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate". Brandi Webb's role was that of a rich femme fatale that allegedly falls in love with a player (Martin Lawrence's role as Darnell Wright) but she develops a fatal attraction when she finds her love interest has another woman on the side.

Now, we are not stating Juanita Bynum thought her ex-husband had an affair but from what gathered in his interview, Bishop Weeks was referring to the image of a "mysterious and seductive woman... who often leads them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations." At that time, he was allegedly trying to tell people that his ex wife was not the woman she portrayed herself to be. In that small statement saying 'she's like Brandi Webb in the movie', goes to prove that Juanita Bynum allegedly had a dangerous side to her and that she may have exasperated the beating incident at an Atlanta hotel parking lot.

Wikipedia also reported this about femme fatales which fit our point at hand: "In some situations, she uses lying or coercion rather than charm..Although typically villainous, femmes fatales have also appeared as antiheroines in some stories, and some even repent and become heroines by the end of the tale."

We believe that Bishop Thomas Weeks III and Juanita Bynum met each others match, just like in the movie, when they met. He may be the seed of a line of Bishops in his family but his ministry at that time was not biblical based. We do believe spirits know spirits. He may have been trying to find a way to become more popular on the media level by marrying her, just as Darnell Wright used Brandi Webb to make him appear upscale and important in the movie.

On the other hand, he may have had it right when allegedly comparing Bynum to this character because though she did not kill anyone, the dynamics of this entire incident made most people feel it could have gone very wrong; fatally wrong.

So, our point is Juanita Bynum used the beating incident to gain sympathy and support as an alleged battered woman. We believe by her actions on Facebook and Twitter that she is arrogant and uses her name and notoriety to fill up her bank account. But how many people can see through the mental confusion here with Juanita Bynum rationalizing her 'tongue typing' and even what happen back then?

We believe it may only get worse and someone needs to intervene on her behalf before it does. We pray that people come to realize the falsehood of her actions and ministry as it stands today.

As always, let us pray for her and her renewing of the mind and spirit.
