Breaking News: Rod Blagojevich On Flight for Federal Prison

Rod Blagojevich is on his way to Colorado Federal Prison and the below video shows the former Governor up in spirits.  He was very nice with people, smiling and taking pictures with them.   Blagojevich is said to have carried a book written by King David, his favorite biblical person. He seems to be having fun conversations with passengers as though he was not headed to prison.   Hopefully, he will keep his spirits up and not be depressed while on his way to Colorado.  God bless, former Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Rod Blagojevich Leaves Chicago Home for Federal Prison

Blago: 'Hardest thing I've ever had to do'

FOX Chicago News

Chicago - It's been more than three years since former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's was arrested in Dec., 2008 outside his home. Thursday the last chapter of his legal saga began, as he said goodbye to his family and left for prison in Colorado.

Blagojevich took a 7:30 a.m. American Airlines flight to Denver Thursday, landing just before 10 a.m. Chicago time.

FOX Chicago News reporter Craig Wall was on the “uneventful” flight with Blagojevich, and he spoke with Blagojevich and his attorneys, with whom he was traveling.

“Well this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,” Blagojevich said in the Denver Airport terminal. “There’s a hole in my heart. Saying goodbye to my children is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
Wall asked what Blagojevich told them...Read full article, here.

Video: Rod Blagojevich to Speak with Media Outside His Home Before Reporting to Prison

Former Governor Rod Blagojevich will be speaking to the press before he starts serving a 14-month prison term.  He took his wife and kids to the zoo while keeping a low profile.  Now, he is preparing to share his thoughts on his life as a convicted felon.   It will be very interesting to hear what Rod Blagojevich has to say to the media, but we have questions.   If he is really a guilty man, we cannot understand why prosecutors could not see his innocence.  Previous to his conviction, Blagojevich angrily spoke out as though he was set up and those recorded tapes were even made up.

If Rod Blagojevich is not an honest man, we hope and pray he spends time repenting to the Lord while serving time in prison.   However, if he has been honest all along, we pray that he receives an apology for his conviction.   Those recorded tapes tell the story and we cannot understand how that was a setup, but we are sure it can happened.   Rod Blagojevich seems like a smart man, but like man people, he may have to come clean before he can ever rise above his past flaws.

Furthermore, we pray that he receives Jesus Christ as his personal Savior while serving time in prison.  If so, no doubt, he will come out a changed man.

Rod Blagojevich to Speak with Media Outside His Home Before Reporting to Prison

By Legal Analyst Larry Yellen, FOX Chicago News

Chicago - Rod Blagojevich left his home with his wife and his two children Tuesday afternoon, heading to an unknown destination.  During his last week of freedom, the former governor has been keeping a low profile, but he's promising to talk to the cameras on Wednesday, at 5 p.m.

“They are cowards and they are liars,” Blagojevich said two years ago, at his last 5 p.m. live television event with reporters.

He was still an innocent man, and he made headlines, challenging the U.S. Attorney's manhood.

“So I'm here looking to issue a challenge,” Blagojevich said. “Mr. Fitzgerald, why don't you show up in court tomorrow, explain to...Read full article, here.
