Zachery Tims Cause of Death To Be Appealed by Mother

We have the latest on Zachery Tims' cause of death. Apparently, the autopsy results will remain sealed even though a Manhattan Judge ruled it should be released to the public.

13News.com reported hours ago that an appeals court in New York has issued a temporary stay on Wednesday. This was after Zachery Tims' mother filed a notice she will be appealing the state Supreme Court ruling.

The courts have given Madeline Tims, mother of Zachery Tims, 30 days to file an appeal after she stated to the court in a four page letter that: "her son's cause of death would be "embarrassing to her, his children, and her grandchildren" and the congregation at New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka."

Christmas Day Turned Into Protest Against New Destiny Pastor and Board Members

There were some members of the Orlando area church spent part of their Christmas protesting the possible appointment of a new pastor, Paula White. Churchgoers at New Destiny Christian Center are concerned over the possibility of Paula White replacing the church's late pastor, Zachary Tims.

On Christmas day, the group of protesters passed around petitions and asked board members to resign. They claim the church's board has ulterior motives and is not looking out the what's truly best for Zachery Tims' legacy nor for the church members at large.

The Orlando Sentinel reported that a New Destiny member Eugene Roberson, whose leading the petition drive stated:

"We don't need this board. We feel this board has ulterior motives," said Eugene Roberson.

"The board passed out the survey last Sunday, and a week later they have not given us the results of the survey. We did our own survey and no one was in favor of Paula White," Roberson said today.

The petition stated Zachery Tims' ex-wife, Riva Tims, should by all right be the pastor.

Zachery Tims' Toxicology Report To Be Released End of Week

It's been one month since Pastor Zachery Tims was found dead in a New York hotel on August 12th and his church has ended its 4 weeks of mourning and vow to move forward. But there are still questions to be answered in the death of Zachery Tims.

In previous reports stated the mega church minister was found unresponsive and pronounced dead inside his room at the W Hotel in New York's Times Square that Friday night.
Following the initial news, New York City police believe the "white substance" found on Tims was drugs. Officials with the medical examiner's office said only toxicology reports will determine how he died and if there were any chemicals in his body.

The Orlando Sentinel reported on Monday:

Tims died in a New York hotel where rooms start at $300 a night. The New York City Medical Examiner's office said the toxicology report, which will determine the cause of his death, should be released by the end of the week.
