Elderly Security Guard Shot to Death Outside Detroit Victory Way Assembly Church of God In Christ

It is such a shame this 84 year-old man, Joseph Lewis, died just doing his job for the church.  Outside of the Victory Way Assembly Church of God in Christ, this elderly security guard was shot to death by two suspects whom the police are now looking for.   Although, Detroit is a very dangerous city, it seems like a person should be able to be safe on the property of the church, but this is not the case in this time and age.  

We realize the Devil is everywhere and will always try to prove through his devious workers that it does not matter where he acts up.  However, this is why we are always encouraging the body of Christ to never stop fasting and praying, because Satan bragged to the Lord where he roams on the earth in Job 1:7: 'And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.'  Therefore, do not be surprised when Satan acts up in the church, around the church or even outside of the church.   Any race of mankind whom are not God's children are always ready to do a job for the Devil and this is what happened in this case. 

It is time for us not to not allow Satan to rule, so we encourage the saints of God everywhere to remain dedicated to prayer and fasting.  Let us unite and take back this entire country, not just the city of Detroit.

May this elderly security guard, Joseph Lewis, rest in peace.
