Paula White New Senior Pastor of New Destiny Church?

There has been some speculation that Pastor Paula White of Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida may be the next pastor to lead the late Zachery Tims' church New Destiny Christian Center. We heard about some of these speculations but were not able to confirm it.

We received an email message over the weekend from someone who knows members of New Destiny Church. They have stated she may be the newly installed pastor of the church. The source stated Paula White has even been receiving congratulations from many people already.  They stated that Bishop I.V. Hilliard of New Christian Center Church in Houston has stepped down from the selection board for choosing a new pastor for the church.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Monday:

“My commitment to integrity will not allow me to support something that I believe is deceptive and that comprises previously agreed upon procedures and protocol.”

This source of ours was very concerned and mentioned:

"they (New Destiny church) were looking for a strong married couple but now it's going to be a twice divorced woman who was dating Pastor Ricky Hawkins who was caught in phone sex with his members that was all over the news! I also heard that they chose someone and Paula stepped in afterwards and said she wanted to be pastor."

Dr. Michael Phillips Steps Down from New Destiny's Board of Councils

This selection process for a new pastor at New Destiny Church has become very strange all of a sudden. Here we have another member of the Board of Councils who has stepped down. This message was provided by a forum via a email blast to subscribers.

Here's the message Dr. Mike Phillips made just recently about leaving New Destiny's selection board:

"Regretfully, after prayer and consideration, I have chosen to cancel my time of ministry at New Destiny Christian Center this Thursday evening, December 22, 2011."

He also requested that supporters "join us in keeping New Destiny & its people covered in prayer during their season of transition."

Bishop Hilliard Resigns from New Destiny Board and Sermon Sheds Light on Church Corruption

Bishop I.V. Hilliard has done his job and has resigned as one of the four bishops that made up the Board of Councils in search of a new pastor and wife for the late Zachery Tims' church New Destiny Church in Apopka.

Well, Bishop Hilliard didn't actually get to do this job he was asked to do and neither did the other board members. In a statement he made via video, he stated he was resigning from the board and this is why:

“My commitment to integrity will not allow me to support something that I believe is deceptive and that comprises previously agreed upon procedures and protocol.”

It is obvious that something very aggravating has made the bishop want to step away from this church now. In his pre-sermon message which lasts about a minute in a half, he also attached his sermon he made at New Destiny Church on Sunday. In the sermon he mentions some things about leadership that gives us some good ideas that New Destiny is in store for a ride they were not attending to be a part of.
