Zachery Tims Interview: Can Dr. Michael Freeman Really Judge The Fruit of Others?

The late Pastor Zachery Tims was a regular host on the TBN network show, Praise The Lord. He interviewed many people and we found one interview on a show he hosted on February 7, 2011. Zachery Tims interviewed Dr. Michael Freeman of Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Maryland and it was interesting to listen to the topic at hand which addressed apostles and bishops holding positions of office but not showing the fruit of their appointed positions. This was stated by Zachery Tims in the introduction and he set the stage for a discussion about judging the tree by its fruit.

Well, Dr. Freeman is speaking on having your own vision, being authentic Christians and not allowing people to lead you the wrong direction. This is very interesting that he states this because he has now been recognized as a big influence of the Jericho City of Praise.

Pastor Joel Peebles Preaches to Thousands Without A Church Home

Apparently, Pastor Joel Peebles, who was fired by the church his mother and father founded years ago, has staying power. Even though the Jericho City of Praise church board allegedly found a reason to kick the pastor out of his church, he is going forth.
Pastor Joel Peebles picked up where he left off and preached to a full house this past Sunday at "the ballroom, overflow room and the hotel Lobby of the Metro Points Hotel in New Carrollton", says our friends at The Church Lady Blogs.

Jericho City of Praise's Pastor Joel Peebles Gets Fired By Church Board

We are appalled at the actions of this board. They are childish and underhanded individuals who seem to only exist because they have some control over this church. What a shame and God sees all.

A board of trustees selected by the late Apostle Betty R. Peebles, co-founder of Jericho City of Praise in Landover, on Wednesday fired her only surviving child, the Rev. Joel R. Peebles, as acting pastor and stripped him of membership in the church his parents created more than 40 years ago.

Peebles, 42, the sole survivor of the Peebles family, said he was notified in writing of his dismissal just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, when he arrived at the church to begin preparing for an evening Bible study session.

“I came here to go to church, and I got terminated,” the Mitchellville resident said Wednesday as he stood under the awning between the church’s two-story administration building, where his mother presided over church operations, and the sprawling sanctuary. “I was told to leave, and the police escorted me out. They told me I was not pastor here nor a member of the church. . . . The officer told me I was trespassing.”
