Now, we can really understand why Minister Mary K. Baxter, Bishop Lorenzo Kelley and others actually saw ministers burning in eternal hell, because of fear among other sins. It is a sin to be afraid of people just because they want to follow what is popular. God is not pleased with Pastor Emmett Burns changing his mind and he will have to give an account for giving into Satan's wishes, instead of making God happy. He will have to eventually face judgement just like Pastor Delmon Coates, Bishop Carlton Pearson, Pastor Jamal Bryant and many others if he does not repent. God is not pleased with the race of preachers in the black church doing what is popular, rather than doing what is holy. God gave us strict guidelines on how we are suppose to be operating in the ministry and certainly, it is not out of fear. God expects ministers to be warriors for the Kingdom of God and if not, then they should find something else to do. God has no room in His Kingdom for alleged cowards. You see, God is testing all of these pastors, bishops, evangelists or whatever they call themselves. He wants to see if they really belong to Him, although he already knows many of them are hypocrites and seek acceptance, rather than enduring persecution for His glory. Especially in the black church, God wants to see if these black preachers are preaching based on His commandments or are they leading their flocks based on their race. He wants to see if leaders of the black church love Him or do they adore their first black president, more. This situation of same sex marriage is nothing but a sign of God evaluating to minds and souls of preachers in the pulpits within many black churches across America.
Even in the pews among the sheep, God is also testing them. He wants to know if church members are supporting their pastors, because they are black or righteous. God is watching to see if followers within any black church is going to remain in a ministry of a Pastor that supports Obama or rejects his stance on same-sex marriages. Indeed, Pastor Emmett Burns and many others have not passed the test and those whom follow them within the black church.
Respectively, all ministers, please read these following scriptures, because there is no excuse for supporting President Barack Obama or misleading your church members to do the same.
Scriptures About Persecution
John 12:42-44-"Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the s0nagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God."
Matthew 10:16-20-“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues....But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."
Matthew 5:10-12-"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven...."
Minister Modifies Stance on President, Not Gay Marriage
By: Jackie Jones, BlackAmericaWeb.com
A prominent Baltimore-area pastor and Maryland legislator who denounced President Obama’s stance on same-sex marriage and told his congregation he would not vote in the November election, told BlackAmericaWeb.com on Monday that he has modified his position and would continue to support the president.
