We here at AT2W are widely known for exposing and seeking the truth about issues in the church and about how some pastors use the pulpit for personal gain.

So, when we heard about the alleged abuse against Pastor Creflo Dollar's daughter by him, we naturally took the news as another megachurch pastor entangled in scandal. We can say that many people who heard the news probably felt the same way. On the contrary, there are many people expressing their opinions that Creflo Dollar did nothing but discipline his rebellious child like any other parent would have done.

Well, we have to admit that it is very difficult to look beyond the fact that Creflo Dollar comes off as very cocky and arrogant to say the least. When you think about how he has preached sermons about 'shooting non-tithers down with uzis'; equating Bishop Eddie Long's sexual misconduct with teen boys to a simple car 'wreck'; and how he strolled over a pile of money on an altar with 'Money Cometh' Leroy Thompson, you can see that the alleged abuse would look like just another result of a puffed up gospel.

The 15-year-old daughter of megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar told authorities her father choked and punched her, and hit her with his shoe during an argument over whether she could go to a party, according to a police report.

Update: Dollar's 19-year-old daughter corroborated most of her sister's story, but Dollar disputed it, telling a sheriff's deputy he was trying to restrain her when she became disrespectful. When she began to hit back, he wrestled her to the floor and spanked her, according to the police report.

Dollar is one of the most prominent African-American preachers based around Atlanta. His World Changers Church International has 30,000 members in the Atlanta area, and the ministry has satellite churches across the U.S.

Update: Dollar faces misdemeanor charges of simple battery and cruelty to children. He has been released from jail and his lawyer said he was expected to preach Sunday.

The megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church in Collge Park, Georgia flatly denies he punched and choked his 15-year-old daughter in an argument by telling his congregation the allegations made in a police report are nothing but "exaggeration and sensationalism."

The congregation gave the pastor a standing ovation as he took the to the pulpit to address the criminal charges. As Creflo Dollar took time out to speak to his congregation, he conveniently allowed cameras in the sanctuary to hear his side of the story:

"I will say this emphatically: I should have never been arrested," Dollar said in his first public appearance two days after police charged him with misdemeanor counts of simple battery and cruelty to children.
"I want you all to hear personally from me that all is well in the Dollar household," Dollar said.

Updated Video and Transcript: Celebrity Preacher Creflo Dollar's Daughter Says He Also Punched and Held Her Over Table

The daughter of Creflo Dollar says the celebrity preacher also punched and held her over the table, not just choked her.  SCR readers, this is a very bad situation and proves why pastors of mega churches should repent for their fame and fortune.   How can they win lost souls when they are emotionally troubled in their own lives?  We have the transcript below, but we really want you to know it is time for pastors of the black church and any other church to start revivals around the country.  For this reason, we now have a president condoning same sex marriage and God's Kingdom has no time for celebrity preachers like Creflo Dollar allegedly harming their family or anyone else.   God wants preachers to represent His Kingdom as men and women of God who would never harm anyone and who are not focused on fame and fortune.

If you have not, please listen to the recorded video of Bishop Earthquake Kelley who allegedly died and met with God. God told Bishop Earthquake Kelley he was angry at ministers whom were preaching for fame and fortune and if they did not get right, they will fall dead in their pulpits.   So, this sudden news along with previous troubles involving various celebrity preachers and pastors does not surprise us.   However, we do pray for them and their families and seriously pray that they repent for seeking fame and fortune, instead of focusing on delivering souls from sin.   There is too much going on with pro abortion laws, children changing their sex and sex marriage condoned in America for all of these celebrity celebrity preachers, gay affirming ministers and not so famous pastors to not take God serious.  God needs all pastors to get right with Him, so they can begin reforming their churches into deliverance ministries.  Too many souls are going to hell and these ministers preaching for fame and fortune are on their way with them, according to Bishop Earthquake Kelley's testimony.

Partial transcript of the 911 call:

911 Operator:  What's going on there?

Caller:  I just got in an altercation with my father.  He punched me and frightened me and choked me.  Um, it's not the first time it's happened.  I feel  threatened by being in this house.  Um, I don't know, I don't  know  what can be done but I'm scared, I'm shaking.  I don't know what to do.

911 Operator:  Do you have any injuries?  Do you need an ambulance?

Caller:  No, ma'am.

911 Operator:  What were you arguing about?

Caller: He asked me, um. He asked me…  It was a previous argument about me going to a party on Saturday.  And he brought up grades and I started crying.  So, I walked out of the room to the kitchen, to my sisters.  I was by myself, it was just me and my sisters in the kitchen.  And he followed behind me and asked me why I was crying?  And I said I do not want to talk to you.  And he went off.  That's when he went off.  He came and put his arm around my neck and choked me and bent me over the table.  And I pushed him off of me and he threw me on the ground and punched me in my face.

Rev. Creflo Dollar arrested on family violence charges

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. - FOX 5 News has learned that Reverend Creflo Dollar, the well known pastor of an Atlanta-area mega church, has been arrested on a family violence charge.

Fayette County deputies arrested the 50-year-old pastor at his home on Sandy Creek Road Thursday night.

Update and Video: Celebrity Pastor Creflo Dollar bonds out of jail, says he loves his kids

When WSB-TV reporter approached Pastor Creflo Dollar leaving jail with his body guard, he said he loves all of his kids and you can hear that statement on this following video. He hopped into the back seat of an expensive Mercedez Benz looking as though he lost his best friend.  Before you watch the celebrity pastor exit out of jail on camera, please realize these celebrity black pastors of these grand mega churches have some deep issues just like any other black family.  Although, they act sophisticated and have church as though they have arrived among the white elite church leaders, they are just as troubled as the average black family and some of them are very dysfunctional.  This is why the church is so messed up today, because some of these pastors get up in front of their congregations as though they have all the answers, but really, they have not dealt with their own personal affairs.

Like Bishop Eddie Long, we are sincerely praying for Creflo Dollar and his family, but we hope he and his wife Taffi seriously think about completely repenting to the Lord for allegedly seeking fame and fortune, instead of leading their ministry to deliver souls from demonic bondage.   Because we live in a world that is has satanic powers all around us, we can no longer afford to have celebrity pastors enjoying their fame and fortune and forgetting about what God cares about.  All of these issues with same sex marriage, abortion and children changing their gender would be stopped, if we had more serious preachers seeking God instead of being a celebrity.  Fame and fortune is irrelevant when you think about all of the lost souls going to hell, even in the black church or any other church.  That shooting that happened yesterday at Pastor Kenneth Samuels gay affirming church was not an accident, it was a definite sign from God that he is tired of various pastors allegedly seeking fame, fortune and condoning sin.   God cannot and will not ever stop tragedies from happening even on church grounds if church leaders are not completely obeying and preaching the full gospel.   So now we have celebrity pastor of World Changers, Creflo Dollar leaving the jail house as though he in in a pitiful state, but before he tried to allegedly choke his daughter, did he adhere to God's expectancy to reform his corporate million dollar ministry into a deliverance ministry?    We wonder how many gays and lesbians are running to World Changers to be delivered from homosexuality?   We wonder how many pimps, madams and prostitutes are running to the alter at Creflo Dollar's church to give up their dangerous lifestyle and surrender their souls to Christ? 

The fame and fortune of celebrity pastors must now come to an end.   The trend of mega churches must now end, because too many souls are being lost during this popular era of same sex marriages and gay affirming churches condoning the sin of homosexuality.   At Creflo Dollar's church is it popular for gays and lesbians to attend to get delivered from son like those whom desire to be famous as hip hop gospel artists?
