You have got to hear Jay Sekulow's interview with Lee Greenwood. Greenwood, song writer of 'God Bless America' opens up about his feelings, regarding his song being judged as offensive by a New York school principle, Greta Hawkins. If you read, The Souls of Black Women blog, you will read one of our journalist's thoughts about Greta Hawkins being a black woman banning a song about God blessing America. In her opinion, it is very sick that this principle seems as though she does not recall how God delivered our ancestors from slavery. How could she deny the students to sing, 'God Bless America' at PS90 graduation?
Lee Greenwood also released a book called, 'Does God Still Bless the USA', which will be passed out to parents at this graduation.
We cannot believe the Department of Education is allegedly supporting Greta Hawkins' decision, but we know 'we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual darkness in high places (Ephesians 6:12)'. Therefore, this is a spiritual matter and Satan allegedly uses many people of all races whom obviously do not love and respect God nor this country of America.
