There have been many (Hollywood) celebrities whom have overdosed on prescribed medication or illegal drugs: Maryland Monroe, John Belushi, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Chad Butler, aka Pimp C, Brittany Murphy, Anna Nicole Smith, River Phoenix, Judy Garland, Dano Plato, Jania Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Cobain, Elvis Presley and the list goes on and on. In previous years, we all have thought about what it must be like to be rich and famous, but years later, celebrities seemed to be dying of drug overdoses and God reminded us we are so blessed to be who we are, regardless of our personal or financial struggles. For many years, He showed us where we could be, if it was not for His grace and mercy. We've seen all of their glamor as they've exited their limousines and strolled onto the red carpet. Also, we have seen celebrity parents like Sylvester Stallone, Will Smith, John Travolta and many others show off their children in front of the cameras, whether they are flashed on the evening news or shown on the big screen with them as though they are the happiest families, when really we do not know what they go through in their daily lives. It is so easy to envy wealthy celebrities, but once we realize they have are no longer alive, we grieve for them.
Sage Stallone was only 36 years old. He played in a few roles with his father. May he rest in peace.
