Carbon fiber is not a new material used in cars. For after-market parts or accessories, carbon fiber is widely used to increase vehicle performance dashing. Higher usage trends for attractive appearance, artistic, strong, and lightweight.
The limitation lies in the price is still expensive and complicated production process, but now manufacturers began to declare the use of carbon fiber for the mass production of cars. Several world-class manufacturers have even built and continues to develop super lightweight car technology on several of their flagship sports car products.

1. Lamborghini Aventador Carbonado
This car was modified by Mansory autotuner that wrapped Lamborghini Aventador with new carbon fiber.
The Swiss autotuner are changing Lamborghini Aventador's body and re-coat the entire body of a super car with carbon fiber material. From the front bumper, spoiler, hood, fender, even the rims light and strong material containing it.

Mansory still use leather material to bind Aventandor interior, including the seats and steering wheel. It's just beneath the skin material hidden steering wheel made of carbon fiber materials.

With the use of ultra-light materials, the V12-powered Aventador Carbonado is capable of running up to speeds of 354 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds or 0.1 seconds faster than the standard Aventador. Clearly, a combination of engine power and lighter weight contributes to excellent speed.
2. Pagani Huayra Carbon Edition
Pagani used the Swiss venue to debut a carbon edition of that very car. Coated in an exposed and high-gloss carbon fiber body, it’s an outrageous machine and is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo AMG V12 making 700 hp and over 700 lb-ft of torque.
The Italian supercar's body is no longer coated with regular paint, but it has been replaced with carbon fiber.

On the styling front, the tuner offers an aero package made from carbon fiber which consists of sporty front lip spoiler, front bumper flaps, wider side sills, front bumper flaps, window air intake grille, front bumper ventilation grid and engine air outlets. The Anderson Ferrari 458 Italia Carbon Edition rides on carbon-coated rims in size of 21 and 22 inch, wrapped in 255/30-21 and 335/25-22 tires for the front and rear, respectively..
4. Audi R8 Razor GTR
This car was actually made for a Swedish skier named Jon Olsson. Named PPI Audi R8 Design Razor GTR, this car already has a complete carbon fiber body kit cause almost all of the panels in the car has been replaced with panels that each have an average weight of 600 grams which is then protected 10 layers of lacquer and gold accents.
So what’s actually new on the Razor GTR.. Well, you would find a new supercharger with a ram-charged sport air filter system, a new high performance exhaust made from stainless steel and also a new ECU map.
The result… 427kW and 600 Nm of torque. Expect a 0-100km/h time of 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 332km/h.

German manufacturer, Audi announced that the next two years will release the latest version of the R8 that his body wrapped in carbon fiber and aluminum in some parts.
5. BMW M1 Hommage
BMW Motorsport is developing M1 Hommage type using only two chairs like a sports car. M1 Hommage is estimated using a 4.0-liter twin turbo engine capable of producing power 600hp.
In i8 concept car is installed cutting-edge technology, namely the body of carbon fiber material. The use of carbon fiber has the potential to reduce the weight of the car.
