Two San Francisco Priests Arrested: Where's The Moral Compass?
A leading Catholic bishop has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Salvatore Cordileone, archbishop-elect of San Francisco, was stopped by police early on Saturday morning and taken into custody.
Mr Cordileone was booked into San Diego County jail two hours after being stopped and then released at 11.59am on Saturday on $2,500 bond, sheriff's records show.
We now have Chaka Khan giving her try on singing gospel. BET's The Gospel According to Torrence has reported she's working on a Gospel EP which should be released in January.
We saw Chaka Khan sing gospel at Oprah's Gospel Brunch on Youtube and of course she did a great job. All we ask is if she can do it in a way that exemplifies the heart of God. We pray she does not invite the hip hop and R&B into the mix.
But we have to say that we wish artists would choice one or the other. We know that people have talents in many different areas but it really does confuse their audience into thinking its o.k. to serve two masters. This is mentioned only in the sense that the genres are mixed and it gives us a distorted sense of holiness and total reverence to God.
Our writers have been trying to stay in the loop on what is going on in the so called pastor's HIV scandal where he is being accused of spreading the deadly disease to women in the church and elsewhere.

He was charged with Reckless Conduct which has to do with his alleged former lover Ronita McAfee accusing him of maliciously and intentionally spreading the HIV virus without informing her or others.

We knew Tameka Foster was not just going to accept Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane's decision, because she is not a dumb woman nor is she weak. Many times tragedies like death make you stronger and you refuse to allow people to walk over you. In this case, Judge Lipton, Usher's attorney, John Mayoue, including Usher himself must have thought they could get away with their dirty secret of Judge Lane allegedly winning most of Attorney John Mayoue's cases and the two of them being close, but the truth was already leaking out on the internet and God always reveals what is hidden in the dark into the light.
Now, we see the ugly side of what goes in the court room, involving some of the most richest celebrities and it is obvious in some cases, they are being found not guilty, because of undercover connections. We knew something was going on very sneaky when we saw Usher's family allegedly grinning in the camera few weeks before the case was over. In our opinion, Judge Lane appeared as though she had a discreet plan, there was something about her expressions in that courtroom. However, Tameka has a very smart attorney, Lisa West is determined for her to have a fair trial and for Lane and Mayoue's connection to be revealed to the judicial system. Celebrities may have a lot of money to cover up dirt, but their fortune could never outsmart those whom have courageous spirits like Tameka Foster.
Furthermore, we are so very happy Tameka has primary custody until the decision is made for a new trial. We do not see how a new trial can be denied by the Georgia judicial system, because it is only moral to look into the facts that allowed Usher to win the custody battle. Therefore, it would be illegal for the GA judicial system not to evaluate Judge Lane and Attorney Mayoue's court violation.
In the meantime, we will be praying for Tameka Foster, including her attorney. We pray for everything to fairly work out in her favor. Also, our prayers go out to Tameka and Usher's two sons.

Australia has a bit of a history when it comes to pioneering cyborg technology. The country was home to the first functioning bionic ear implant in 1978 and now, in 2012, comes a new version of a bionic eye, with Bionic Vision Australia (BVA) researchers announcing the success of their first retinal implant trial.
Dianne Ashworth, a profoundly blind woman, had the prototype implant switched on last month. “All of a sudden I could see a flash. It was amazing,” she said.

After years of darkness caused by retinitis pigmentosa, shapes and lights began appearing as electrical impulses from the chip shot along Ms Ashworth's long-disused optic nerves to the vision centers of her brain. What's marvelous is that - unaware of the immense hack taking place - the brain obediently processes the signals, regardless of the fact there's been no sight in the traditional sense. In a world first, surgeons implanted the prototype implant behind Ashworth’s retina, and installed a small wire from her eye to a connector behind her ear.
Researchers can now test the implant with a view to developing a vision processor and external camera.
“These results have fulfilled our best expectations, giving us confidence that with further development we can achieve useful vision," said Professor Emeritus David Penington AC, Chairman of Bionic Vision Australia. "Much still needs to be done in using the current implant to ‘build’ images for Ms Ashworth. The next big step will be when we commence implants of the full devices.”
The BVA eye employs a similar approach to the American developed Argus II, which uses a video camera worn on a headband to provide some vision. The Argus II boasts 60 electrodes while the Australian prototype has 24, but BVA plans to test a vastly improved 1024 electrode implant capable of offering facial recognition and reading large print by 2014.
While the BVA eye is by no means the first - the Argus II is already available in Europe – the Bionic Vision Australia eye is rapidly catching up. And with at least 12 bionic eye projects progressing around the world, the future will certainly be brighter for the profoundly blind. Ukraine Pastor Sunday Adelaja Faces Arrest and Government Freezes Assets
Nigerian-born pastor, Sunday Adelaja, who oversees one of the largest evangelical churches in Eastern Europe, faced the possibility of arrest Tuesday.
Police summoned him to their headquarters in Kiev, Ukraine, where he could have been detained in an investigation into his alleged involvement in a now-defunct business run by members of his church. Adelaja told a Nigerian newspaper that police turned him away at the door because the charges are not ready, but they told him to return next week.
Though he is free, Adelaja learned that all his assets, including his home, vehicles and bank accounts, have been seized by the government.

OLED (organic light emitting diode) panel are devices that emit light themselves (self-luminous) and use a thin layer of organic light-producing material. OLED panel technology was first developed by researchers at the Eastman Kodak Co.Rochester, New York.
OLED panel consists of OLED cells. Tues OLED consists of electroluminesens organic materials that emit light when stimulated by electricity. Electroluminesens generally refers to the events of light emission by a material in response to the voltage applied to the material.
Basic OLED cell structure consists of a stack of thin organic layer inserted between a transparent anode and a metallic cathode. The organic layer consists of a layer of injection holes (positive charge carriers), hole transport layer, emisif layer, and an electron transport layer. Each organic layer has a thickness of about 100 nanometers.
When a certain voltage (typically a few volts in small quantities) is given on the OLED cell, positive and negative charges are injected be recombined in a layer emisif. The charge recombination events produce light.
One type of existing OLED panel is transparent OLED panel (TOLED / transparent organic light emitting diode). Transparent OLED development was first claimed by researchers at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. The approach they use to create transparent OLED is to use a TFT (thin film transistor) made of transparent zinc tin oxide layer with a thickness of 100 nm which transmits more than 90 percent of visible light.
TFTs and OLED pixels in a transparent OLED panels are placed next to each other. Due to the size TFT layers are thin, layers can be deposited over a large area with the usual techniques for the manufacture of transparent OLED panel.
Transparent OLED panel has a component substrate, cathode and a transparent anode. When disabled (off), to 85% remains transparent substrates. When a transparent OLED panel is turned on (on) or electrified, this panel channel light in two directions (up and down). Because of that ability, transparent OLED panels can be used for heads-up panels, bulkhead light (a device that is almost invisible during the day and the light scattered / diffuse at night), lights, light canopy, windshield displays navigation and warning , and architectural glass.
Transparent OLED panels can be made with a passive matrix arrangement (known as PMOLED) and active matrix (known as AMOLED). PMOLED (passive matrix OLED) is a type of OLED which has a structure such as the blades of cathode, organic layers, and the blades of the anode. The blades crossing the anode fitted with blades of cathode. Intersections on the cross between the anode and the cathode is a pixel dots. The resulting number of pixels depends on the amount of electric current that flows from the source / power voltage at the anode and cathode blades that have been determined. The greater the current flow, the brighter the light produced.
PMOLED easy to make, but the power consumption is greater than with other types of OLED. PMOLED most efficiently used to display text and icons and the most suitable for the smaller screen size (diagonal screen size of 2 to 3 inches) as the panel on the HP and MP3 player.
The AMOLED (active matrix OLED) is a type of OLED which has a structure layer of cathode, organic molecules and anode which are shaped overlay. Overlay layer anode on an array of TFT AMOLED which form a matrix. Composition of TFT itself is nothing but a series that determines the selection of pixels for the formation of an image.
The electric power consumed by AMOLED smaller than the electrical power consumed PMOLED. This is because the presence of the circuit in the form of TFT devices that require less power than the external circuit used PMOLED.
