Pastor Laddie Pierce was shot by a church member in the parking lot. Thank God he is going to be okay, but ladies in gentlemen, just think if this shooting could have caused him to die. It seems like every week now, we are presenting articles to you, involving tragic incidents of preachers either being found dead or shot, in stable or critical condition. Saints of God, when is today's church going to make a wise decision and fully obey God's Word and return to sanctification while living and preaching it?
Now we are not saying Pastor Pierce has been living a sinful life, what we are saying is that we believe some cases God allows to get the attention of the entire church world to get right with Him and stop the carnality in the church. We are seeing too many cases of preachers being attacked by demonic spirits through people and that's not the way it's supposed to be, we are supposed to have power over the enemy. Demons in people are supposed to tremble and flee just like the Word told us in James 4:7, 'Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.' They are not supposed to have power over our lives, but because we are living in an age of extreme rebellion within the body of Christ, God cannot stop tragedies among certain ministers for His own reason and three of those reasons, is refusing to preach complete holiness, not preaching for the body of Christ to be completely different from the world and preaching against sin and hypocrisy. Too many preachers are keeping their focus on tithes and offerings and recognition, rather than winning souls to be help them become completely delivered from sin. No church member should be so possessed with the Devil to pull the trigger on you. If all preachers within the body of Christ would return to preaching what God wants them to preach and not want people want to hear, then they would have power and the anointing to rebuke the enemy.
In the meantime, we will be praying for Pastor Laddie Pierce and again, we are so glad God protected him from death. Also, we pray for his former church member to repent and make a wise decision to serve the Lord before it is everlasting too late.
