Netherlands's Exotic Roadyachts

Dutch manufacturer, Savage Rivale, has been hard at work the past couple of years working on their 4-door "topless on demand" supercar, the Rivale Roadyacht GTS. The first prototype version was released back in 2008 with a production model envisioned for 2009. Now, two years after the planned debut, Savage Rivale has finished their unique supercar and presented at the first appearance in public on the Monaco Top Marques event, on April 14, 2011.

The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS is the result of the wild imagination of Emile Pop and Justin de Boer who believe that every dream should come true. Their dream turned out to be a limited edition supercar with only 20 units and in only three exterior colors.

According to Savage Rivale this will be the only 4 door "topless on demand" supercar in the world. It combines a "bad-boy" exterior design aspect with an interior inspired by the yachting world. With a 670 HP V8 engine under the hood, the Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS will be capable of sprinting from 0-to-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds, while top speed goes up to an impressive 330 km/h. Both those numbers are comfortably "super."

Other specs for the vehicle include a double wishbone suspension for the front and the rear, an eight piston monobloc 380mm two piece brake disc for the front, and a four piston monobloc 355mm two piece brake disc.

In terms of design, the Roadyacht GTS pieces a carbon fiber body together atop a chrome molybdenom chassis. It uses two wing doors up front and two suicide wing doors in back. The car rides on lightweight magnesium-carbon fiber wheels and leaves its mark on the Earth through a titanium exhaust system. Judging by the initial renderings and photos, you won't have to look to hard to pick up your ladies in this one - they'll be able to spot the bright, vibrant colors from blocks away.

Savage Rivale is still testing and fine-tuning the Roadyacht and will officially unveil the model next year at a major Middle Eastern auto show, though it has yet to announce which one. The company hasn't released pricing details publicly just yet, but has stated that it has taken three orders for the car. It plans to begin deliveries in 2013. *** [TOPSPEED | GIZMAG | SAVAGE RIVALE | EKA]
