Ricky Dale Wyatt is a free man, after 31 years. This is nothing but God's doing, another free man who was wrongly convicted. Every since DNA has been in existence, God has freed many prisoners. What does this tell us? Many of them were falsely accused, possibly because of their race. There has been nothing but African American men whom were freed in recent years, all because of DNA, a miraculous evident resolution to prove a man or woman's innocence. Also, thank God for the Innocence Project, because they have freed many innocent prisoners whom were facing life sentences, possibly more, and some, the death penalty.
When you watch this video, you will see Ricky Dale Wyatt extremely happy as he leaves the court room with his daughter and granddaughter after 31 years. Can you imagine, this man was facing spending the rest of his life in prison, a 99 year term? Wow, God is good and this repeated success with the innocence project is awesome. Mr. Ricky Wyatt would not have been able to ever spend time with his daughter or granddaughter, if it was not for this amazing DNA strategy to prove he did not commit aggravated assault. Although the DallasObserver reported he is not yet exonerated, he is so close to it as a free man.

Prosecutors had evidence to support it, but suppressed it during Wyatt’s trial.
This year, two groups, including the Conviction Integrity Unit at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and the Innocence Project based out of New York, teamed up to uncover that old evidence.
Dallas County Judge John Creuzot on Wednesday decided the evidence was substantial enough to vacate Wyatt’s conviction.
“Mr. Wyatt, it’s been a long time -- 31 years,” Creuzot said to Wyatt during Wednesday’s hearing.
Shortly after that, Creuzot announced Wyatt was free...Read full article, here.Source and photo courtesy: nbcdfw.com
