You see, this is why there is so much trouble in the church among married couples these days, they live their lives too similar to the world. Where is the difference within the body of Christ? Why are christian couples connecting through matchmaking service? First of all, it is not safe and secondly, we have heard many tragic stories within the church among couples whom met on online dating sites. God has nothing to do with meeting your soul mate online and if these women and men continue to not seek Him instead of being so desperate and in a rush, they are going to experience a dead end in their relationship. Why? Because the Bible clearly states, for us to seek His Kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), then He will give us the desires of our hearts. We are suppose to allow God to lead us into a wholesome relationship with the opposite sex, not depending on an online dating site to find it. It does not matter who has claimed it has worked for them, it is not right in the eyes of God, because these dating sites are of the world and His Kingdom does not need any help connecting whom He wants to connect for a long-life commitment.
Just because the masses are seeking a long life partner online, does not make it right. Many times just because you could be seeking a spouse, the person you maybe interested in may not be seeking God and could be enjoying several relationships with various men or women on the same dating site. Another thing, nothing is as good as instant chemistry, that is how our great grandparents, grandparents met, it was face to face spiritual connections and instantly, they both knew they were meant to meet. You see, it is christian dating sites like Christian Mingle that take the excitement out of God's natural love and affection, between a man and a woman. These days, with all of the homosexuality spreading around, you never know when someone is bi-sexual or even born a real man or a real woman. That's right, those who claim to be Christians nowadays are homosexuals or transgender people, in many cases. So, what would you do, if Satan deceived you to think you are in love and you fall in love with someone who had changed their sex and they wait to tell you after you are married? How would you feel as a real man or woman? It would not be fair to call on God then, because you did not wait on him.
When God said He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing in Proverbs 18:22, He was clearly speaking of a saved Christian man seeking His bride through Jesus Christ speaking to His soul, after so many months of courting. Back in the day, when a man courted a woman, it was no sex before marriage, not even a kiss or holding hands, but their union was solely guided by God and after so long, he knew his girlfriend was meant to be his wife and bore his children. This was designed by God and no assistance through a dating site was ever needed to make it happen. Therefore, we will pray God stir the hearts among lost souls within the body of Christ, because it is absolutely wrong for any man or woman to seek their spouse online.
As we informed you in our introduction, there have been so many "so-called" love connections that ended in tragedies. One particular story we heard of involved a Christian woman who was seeking a man online and he became so obsessed with her, he became violent when she followed her pastor's instruction to let him go and now she is dead. Therefore, please take heed and wait on God. Do not ruin God's desired mate for your life and choosing him or her, just because you feel lonely or too desperate. Just because you claim to be a Christian does not mean God will give His angels charge to protect you. You have to obey and wait on Him, because He is not responsible for putting your life in jeopardy. So absolutely not, christian sites are not God's will.
