Do African Americans Honor Jesus Christ Like Dr. Martin Luther King?

If the majority of African Americans celebrated the crucifixion of Jesus Christ more than the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, than no doubt, there would not be so much oppression and yet discrimination.  We feel Dr. Martin Luther King did not have to die for any race, if Jesus Christ was loved more than humanity in the first place.   However, there are many African Americans who fail to accept this fact.  For many years, they have always believed they needed a Moses to lead them, but the Bible does not say so.  The Bible reveals Jesus Christ died for all of us, no particular race, but for many years, many black people have rebelled against the Word of God, which some of them claim is written by white men.  Obviously by those particular African Americans carrying around that same old myth is only an excuse not to serve or believe in Jesus Christ.   The same Bible those particular African Americans call a book written by the "white man", is the same Word of God that quotes in the book of Songs of Solomon 1:6, which says, "Don't hate me because I am black."  Therefore, why don't African Americans honor Jesus Christ more than the late Dr. Martin Luther King?

If it was not for Jesus Christ, there wouldn't have been a Dr. Martin Luther King.  God may have used Dr. King to provide equality for African Americans, but not to forget His Son, Jesus ChristEvery year, Dr. Martin Luther King is remembered for fighting for the equality of blacks and whites to unite.  However, if Jesus Christ would receive that much gratitude everyday, a majority of African Americans could beat oppression they yet face not necessarily always in the presence of white supremacists, but among their very own race.   This is why there are still a high percentage of African Americans yet dying all sorts of ways, because they have not yet accepted God's vision for their lives.  They have accepted Dr. Martin Luther King's dream of diversity, but refuse to obey God and follow His vision and that is to follow each, every commandment and completely abstain from this wicked world and to remain holy.  Don't you think this is what God expected before Africans went into captivity by their slave masters?  Absolutely, it is the same real life story we read about, regarding the children of Israel.  The Bible used them as an example for all humanity.  He told the children of Israel time and time again to obey His commandments, but the children of Israel rebelled and refused to do things God's way.  Also, nowhere in the Bible did anyone have to be assassinated in order for the children of Israel to be free.  Therefore, this reveals the disobedience of many African Americans, every year they always remember to give credit to Dr. Martin Luther King, but everyday many of them do not honor the Son of God, Jesus Christ.  Instead, many of today have chosen to follow the religion of their slave master's descendents and worship Satan, including idol gods.

It is so sad, many will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, but will not glorify God nor His Son Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ is the real Savior.  This is why there can never be complete unity among the human race of people, simply because Jesus Christ has not been respected, glorified and honored as He should be.   It has been mostly heroes like Dr. Martin Luther King most remembered for risking their lives, for most of humanity whom has forgotten God.

Let us go deeper, we question if the support of Dr. Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King's alleged support for homosexuals.  If it is true, then Jesus Christ should have been the only way for African Americans to receive equality, not through Dr. Martin Luther King.   The words of Jesus Christ instructed us to have nothing to do with homosexuality.   Jesus Christ is the real Savior who died for all humanity and if we do not serve Him through spirit and in truth, then each and every one of us must repent for taking part in any sort of iniquity (sin), whether we support it or even involved in it.   We must give honor to Him honor is due, it is time to honor Jesus Christ on a daily basis and even on the special day dedicated in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King.   Jesus was the first man to be beaten, chained and made mocker of, no other man could have endured our real Savior's assassination.   Jesus had already died for equality, but the lack of honor for Him is the reason why African Americans have long suffered even before and during the civil rights era.  As true born again Christians we can only honor Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for our sins, not a man whom allegedly condoned sin, although he fought for the equality of African Americans.

In conclusion there would be less trouble in America, if Jesus Christ was honored like and even more than Dr. Martin Luther King.
