Song Writer Lee Greenwood Offended by 'God Bless USA' Ban by NYC School Principal Greta Hawkins

The man who wrote the song, 'God Bless America' is speaking out about school principle, Greta Hawkins banning the song he wrote 28 years ago.   He says he wrote the song, because he wanted people to realize the love he has for this country and for people of all races to remain free.   Lee Greenwood is a born again Christian who is very offended by Greta Hawkins banning the Kindergarteners of the New York elementary school, PS 90 from singing his song.

One of our journalists previously wrote about this story at Souls of Black Women blog, revealing how far many black women have turned away from God and moral principles, even after they acknowledge how God blessed the ancestors of African Americans to be free from slavery.  As children of God, this news should offend the entire body of Christ, because 'God Bless America' is a song that written by a man who yet has a close relationship with God who admits the song was also created to create love and unity among all races.

This news about Greta Hawkins banning students from singing, 'God Bless America' is just another reason why we cannot support the civil rights movement, because many black people like this woman have not respected freedom of religion, Christianity.  This reveals how the Devil uses certain black people among other races who have no respect for God nor this country, which is no different than white supremacists.   The song is not just a patriotic song, but it is also a song giving reverence to God, humbly asking Him to bless our country, regardless of the problems we have had over the years.   This certain situations must cease, in order for God to heal our land.
