Black churches protest of FCC viewablility rule to expire


There was a serious demonstration going on Wednesday at Washington's office of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Reports state that about 35 demonstrators representing a coalition of 34,000 black churches marched in front of the Federal Communications Commission fighting against what would cause the many viewers of faith-based television programs to lose access to them if the FCC lets a rule expire requiring cable systems to carry the shows, says the Root.
It has been reported that if the FCC does not take action, the three year old 'viewability rule' will expire on June 12th.
