MIssion Road COGIC church avoids eviction with bank settlement

The pastor of a suburban Orlando Pentecostal church was facing eviction only days ago until they reached a settlement with the bank. The Mission Road Church of God in Christ church was able to settle with Bank of America after several years of wrestling with debt, says bank officials.
Though BlackAmericaWeb.com reported two weeks ago that the members of the church were going to be evicted at any given moment, but the pastor stated he signed papers:
"I signed the paperwork on Friday," said the Rev. Larry Perkins, pastor of the 75-year-old church.
"The property had been foreclosed, and the title had been transferred," a jubilant Perkins told BlackAmercaWeb.com. "I don’t know what happened, or how it happened, but God worked it out."
