Breaking News: Rod Blagojevich On Flight for Federal Prison


Rod Blagojevich is on his way to Colorado Federal Prison and the below video shows the former Governor up in spirits.  He was very nice with people, smiling and taking pictures with them.   Blagojevich is said to have carried a book written by King David, his favorite biblical person. He seems to be having fun conversations with passengers as though he was not headed to prison.   Hopefully, he will keep his spirits up and not be depressed while on his way to Colorado.  God bless, former Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Blago: 'Hardest thing I've ever had to do'

Chicago - It's been more than three years since former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's was arrested in Dec., 2008 outside his home. Thursday the last chapter of his legal saga began, as he said goodbye to his family and left for prison in Colorado.

Blagojevich took a 7:30 a.m. American Airlines flight to Denver Thursday, landing just before 10 a.m. Chicago time.

FOX Chicago News reporter Craig Wall was on the “uneventful” flight with Blagojevich, and he spoke with Blagojevich and his attorneys, with whom he was traveling.

“Well this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,” Blagojevich said in the Denver Airport terminal. “There’s a hole in my heart. Saying goodbye to my children is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
