Former CHP Officer Sentenced in Husband's Murder: Thou Shall Not Kill, But Can God Give Her Another Chance For Freedom?

Although, Former CHP Officer Tomiekia Johnson opened up about her abusive relationship with her deceased husband, Marcus Lemons, the judge and jury did not adhere it.   Possibly, because she never complained before and suddenly decided on that day to allegedly pull off the freeway and shoot the gun while off duty.   While Tomiekia Johnson will be spending the rest of her life in prison, the couple's four year old daughter will be without both of them.  This is the fate of the sentence, but we within the body of Christ are able to see it how God sees it, after a person completely repents for whatever they have done, no matter how bad it is.

In the book of Exodus 20:13, among the Ten Commandments, it says, 'Thou Shall Not Kill.'  Then in Romans 13:9, For this, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.'   Therefore, we know we are forewarned  in God's Word not to murder anyone for any reason.   Of course, we must find ways to deal with our anger, no matter the situation.   In this case of Tomiekia Johnson, she reached for her gun in her purse while off duty and no doubt was not going to end any abusive insults from her deceased husband, which may have occurred many times before.  Many times, spouses or partners in a relationship automatically murder people by the words that they speak and a person could easily just stop the constant abusive nagging by getting a gun or a knife to end all of it, when it fact, it is a trick of Satan, because when it's all over, you may not have to ever hear to evil words of your spouse or partner, but you will have to face a judge and jury whom were not there to endure any emotional pain the person may have caused you. All they are looking at is the law and it is not just the judicial law, but we must honor the spiritual law, which forewarns us not to kill.   In this case of Tomiekia Johnson and her deceased husband, Marcus Lemons, neither one seem to have not been born again Christians.  Neither one of them seem to have not known the Lord, since it was allegedly reported they both were coming home drunk from TGI Fridays.   Therefore, God has been waiting for a very long time for both of them to accept Jesus Christ and live for Him.   Believe it or not, although Tomiekia Johnson may now be in prison for a very longtime, she has a chance to repent and get it right with God before it is everlasting too late.   The sad part, her husband may never get that chance.

We hear of true miraculous testimonies all the time of people who find Jesus Christ in prison and although, the judge may have sentenced them to a life term, they were eventually released from their term.   We heard of a recent testimony of a minister who prayed with a wife whose husband was serving two life terms in prison for shooting two police officers.  He had already spent 30 years, but after the minister prayed with his wife and he visited and prayed with him to accept Jesus Christ, he was discharged and now out witnessing to lost souls, bringing them into God's Kingdom.   So yes, we agree although a person was wrong for what they did, God can give them another chance for freedom, because they repented and vowed to live for Jesus Christ.   So now, no matter what this former CHP officer is accused of doing, her soul is now available for God to deal with, that's good news.  That's all God wants is all of our attention and many times, He allow situations such as this one, to get souls to come to Him, not that He wants murder, but those whom are not serving Jesus Christ make the wrong decisions, because they have not accepted Him.  Now, God can have Tomiekia Johnson's soul, if she is willing to repent and serve Him.
