Charles Stephen Parker was only 25 years old. As far as we know he worked as a banker for Bank of America, not a drug dealer, a pimp nor a person who was on drugs. Parker was different than the average black man in the area of Atlanta. He wanted something out of life. He just simply planned to purchase some properties and supposedly went to view them with a business partner after church. His family allegedly claimed Charles Parker was a God-fearing man and loved God. Therefore, he was not one who just went to church, we are assuming he was a born again Christian. We feel very bad that this young man left church and suspiciously was allegedly murdered by someone. However, it does not matter how much those of us whom are respectful African Americans live upright in the eyes of God, Satan always tries to control our lives and even seeks to kill us. As the Word says, 'Satan comes to steal, kill and to destroy, but He comes that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).' We cannot avoid Satanic forces among our own race when they refuse to know Jesus Christ and live for Him. God told us in Psalm 91, He will protect us from evil; however, we must be very careful whom we associate with. We must show them love, but we cannot expect for there ever to be peace among many of our own kind whom refuse to believe in God and serve Him. Just like we cannot see God, but feel Him, please acknowledge demons are very real, although we cannot see them. In order to combat the demon of murder in Atlanta and elsewhere, there must be a great revival to occur and the saints of God must agree to command Satan to flee. We cannot just attend church or fellowship with those whom claim to know Jesus Christ, wherever there are strange murders that just won't stop, God is waiting for extreme repentance among tribes of people whom have ignored His expectancy of true holiness and righteous living. In the family of Charles Parker, God could be trying to get someone to surrender, but overall, Atlanta and its neighboring cities, there have been too much hatred among those whom claim to be in unity as a race.
We want to pray for the family of Charles Parker and pray that they seek God in unity and remain strong in Him. However, there needs to be a great revival among a tribe of people whom have a history of marching against segregation during the lifetime of Dr. Martin Luther King and thereafter. In Atlanta, there is a pattern of marching against racial discrimination, but after the civil rights movement the demon of hatred seems to have moved into the souls of many African Americans whom yet carry on the facade as it being the greatest place to live. Dear readers, the only real peace is through Jesus Christ and it is time for not only Atlanta and those whom reside in its surrounding cities, but all across America. God wants people to love Him first, before He can heal them from such hostility among themselves. Now again, we do not know what happened in the death of Charles Parker, but God has been speaking through several tragedies before this one and it is time for African Americans whom live in the area to start a great revival. God could be expecting those whom reside in the area to be an example for others to follow across the entire nation, simply because there remains a history of the civil rights movement led by a man Dr. Martin Luther King whom dreamed of equality, but never dreamed of such division and crime among African Americans. God's clear message seems to be the civil rights movement did not lead the tribe of black people to Him, because He has been still waiting on them to repent and completely submit to His will and His way, only. No civil rights leader could ever give us peace like Jesus Christ and until that fact is acknowledged, there will never be peace among those have been oppressed and tried so hard to avoid genocide.
In conclusion, medical examiners are going to do an autopsy to make sure the body found in the well is Charles Parker. However, they are most likely sure it is him. So, may he rest in peace.
