First we would like to reveal that Pastor Delman Coates' alleged excuse for agreeing with same sex marriage, because of his cousin being infected with HIV is not excused in the Kingdom of God. Do we think God is dumb? God is not ignorant and neither are we to believe we should agree with homosexuality, just because of a disease. Doesn't Pastor Delman Coates realize that not all people who catch HIV/AIDS are gay? So, why use his cousin being infected with the disease to excuse same sex marriage? God is not please with this pastor's stance on same-sex marriage. Now as you know, we have supported various African Americans whom have faced racial discrimination, but we do not and will not ever support a minister who agrees with homosexuality, which is opposed in God's Word. We will give you those following scriptures at the end of this post.
According to Pastor Delman Coates' church website, he is happily married to a woman. Really? We asked this question before, why would any happily married couple whom are man and woman agree with same sex marriage? This seems to be a kinky stance and is very offensive to the body of Christ. We as African Americans must have absolute morals and values, but we cannot lie on God and treat everything in society as a civil rights issue. We will not be able to make it to heaven that way, God will not stand for it. If a man is married to a woman like Pastor Coates or a woman is married to a man and believes it is okay to be gay and even supports same sex marriages, they might as well separate, because they have just let go of their reason for being married as a heterosexual couple. How can you love your husband or wife and agree with the type of marriage God does not agree with, according to His Word? God also told us in His Word a few times, not to add or subtract, we will also give you those exact scriptures. Pastor Delman Coates spoke up at a committee to support same sex marriage. What will he do when God reveals that part of his life on a screen, after he comes to the end of his life? According to previous testimonies, God has a screen just like Satan has a screen. Satan plots to use seducing spirits to regulate God's world and God has a screen to show those whom are suppose to be following Him, He is watching them every second. On Coates' church website, it also showed, he has a church membership of over 8,000 people. Just think about it, if all 8,000 of those people believe the lie that God condones same sex marriage, they will forever burn in hell. All it takes is this one person, Pastor Coates to spread the same old lie that God understands to just hand souls over to Satan. God does not understand sin and also cannot understand married couples like Pastor Delman and his wife married as man and woman, but also support same sex couples who come into God's House.
To all men and women whom agree with same sex marriage, you do not belong to God and offend Him, because you violate His Kingdom by supporting what you should not be a part of, homosexuality. Of course, we do not know if his wife agrees with his stance, but it is abnormal for any wife to remain married to a man (or vice versa) whom agrees with same sex marriage, according to God's Word. When God says time is up, you cannot say nobody forewarned you to do right neither can you make an excuse that you had a family member who was gay or sick with HIV/AIDS. You cannot even make an excuse that you are married to the opposite sex, because to God, it does not make sense to support same sex marriage while being married to the opposite sex. It is bad enough to agree with it if you are gay or lesbian. God has rules and regulations and does not compromise these following scriptures.
Furthermore, there are pastors like Pastor Delman Coates whom mess up how God expects marriages to be, just between one man and one woman. As African Americans, we will not be able to conceive and naturally reproduce more children, if men and women continue involve themselves in a same sex marriage. We already have a very low population rate and of course, this does not make God happy. This is why we must run away from those whom claim to love God while condoning what His Word opposes. God does not want us to have anything to do with them, because in His eyes, they are not His children. Anyone whom opposes God's Word is a child of Satan, it does not matter if they are a pastor, bishop, evangelist, white or black, rich or poor. It does not matter if they are black and how much they support the black community. If they are not following God's Word, they are an enemy of ours and we cannot respect them as true men or true women of God.
You see, this is why there is no unity among African Americans, because righteous people cannot agree with those whom condone unrighteous lifestyles. As African Americans, God will allow us to heal among ourselves, families and even churches, if we completely follow these scriptures.
Scriptures Against Homosexuality
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."
- Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
- Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Romans 1:26-27 - "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."
You Shall Not Add nor Subtract from God's Word
- And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
- Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
