Although, Rayful Edmond III may have not been the only child like the late Zachery Tims, Constance upheld him as though he was a well-respected child and bragged to a close friend about his success in the drug industry, as though he was living a legit and decent life. Although, Zachery Tims was a well-respected minister and built up a successful ministry, New Destiny Christian Center, reaching millions of people, all across the world, he was discovered dead with a white powdery substance found on his body and his mother is going so far to approach the Supreme Court bench to allegedly protect his ungodly association with whatever the toxicology results are, which may have to do with a combination of drug use, suicide or medication he was on for a possible illness, which may never know. However, we may know after Thanksgiving, if the Supreme Court rules in favor of the press to release the toxicology results to those who are owed to know, because of donating so much money into his ministry and trusting him as a man of God while teaching His Word.
So you see, it does not matter if it is an only child or a favorite child in the case of these two black mothers overly protecting their sons, they both have an issue obviously did mature these black men to become responsible for their actions. Constance "Bootsy" Perry went so far to obscure the evidence of her son's drug operation, after sensing her family was being investigated by the FBI. On this following video, a close friend of the family and girlfriend of Rayful Edmond mentioned they were close like friends, a relationship that was more than mother and son, meaning there was possibly not enough discipline and too much of a buddy relationship to chastise Rayful, even when he was wrong. Although, the late Dr. Zachery Tims mentioned in the article that his mother forewarned him when he was young, we do not know how she reacted after she saw how much money he was bringing into the house as a drug dealer and even after he became an ordained minister. Since everything was left to her as the executor of his estate, no doubt there was a bond closer than mother and son that was more like friends. Now, we are not saying anything is wrong with being your son's friend, but not too much where there is no rebuke for his wrongdoings, even when he is a grown man and he receives only support and no correction. Therefore both odd behaviors of these mothers reveal that possibly they both spoiled their sons from the time they were little boys, through their teens and even when they were grown.
These mothers are only to blame for how they handled their grown sons, after they saw their hearts were not spiritually right with God while bringing in money through ministry's tithes and offerings and money from selling drugs. Bother mothers received funds from their sons through their multimillion dollar operations, allegedly. Constance Perry and Madeline Tims sons both operated million dollar corporations, one legal and one not legal. Constance "Bootsie" Perry's son is in protected custody, in prison for life and Madeline Tims son is dead. So, you see both of these mothers paid the consequence some sort of way for allegedly overly protecting their sons, although they knew they were wrong for selling drugs and destroying humanity, in Tims case he allegedly destroyed himself. Sadly, Madeline is yet protecting Zachery Tims, even though she will never see him again until hopefully they meet in heaven.
If you desire to watch American Gangster: Rayful Edmond see how his mother, Constance "Bootsie" Perry assisted to him in the drug industry, you will acknowledge the strong comparison between she and Madeline Tims, the late Zachery Tims' mother who is trying so hard the keep her son's cause of death unknown to the public.
