We have been a bit concerned about the hair shows we've seen on video. The movie "Good Hair" focused on black hair but also the shows behind many lifestyles.
We will focus on one particular hair show that has been popular for several years: The Bronner Bros International Hair Show. We chose this one because it has a prominent reputation in Atlanta and around the world. The Bronner Bros were started and founded with Nathanial Bronner and other siblings in 1947. They are responsible for Bronner Bros. hair products, beauty schools, beauty shows and hair shows.
They are not only entrepreneurs but are Christian men as well. Though Bishop Dale Bronner is more popular than the others today, "the Bronner family also founded The Ark of Salvation Worship Center, which Rev. Nathaniel Bronner, Jr., Rev. Charles Bronner and Rev. James Bronner. This ministry produces television broadcasts throughout the week as well as some leading online ministries."We know Bishop Dale Bronner of Atlanta is a descendant of the Bronner Brothers company but we are concerned about the worldly exhibit of non-Christian activities tied to the performances of the Bronner Brothers Hair shows. Six brothers are owners of the company at this time and four out of six of them are pastors. Even though they are Christian pastors and this is a family business, can it be separated from their faith?
