California Baptist Pastor on Trial for Sexually Abusing Children

The 49-year-old California Baptist pastor of First Baptist Church of Rio Linda, Tommy Gene Daniels is now on trial for allegedly molesting two teen age girls.  Previously, we presented you with the report after it hit the national press at AToast2Wealth.com.   On this update, we just desire to share our thoughts on this situation.

It seems like this case of this Rio Linda pastor is one among many others.   These ministers are oddly possessed with a demon of lust for molesting young children, in most of these cases.  Why is it that these pastors destroy the innocence, when they should be in the position of spreading the message of deliverance for those within the world who are possessed with the same sort of demon of lust?   Pastors are supposed to be messengers for Jesus Christ and if sinners with all sorts of demonic spirits happened to visit their church, they should be the ones to pray away the evil spirits, not be possessed with them.   Therefore, we who are true born again believers must continue to pray in unity, because this is nothing but the trick of Satan.   If Satan can deceive ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, then who can sinners turn to?   So, let us continue to pray for Pastor Daniels and other pastors who need to repent to God and to the children and prepare themselves to meet Jesus, whenever He is ready for them.

Pastor Tommy Daniels like the famous case of involving Bishop Eddie Long may reveal this obvious fact, they bother like many others may not have been called to preach, but possibly just sit in the pews and learn how to be holy.

Furthermore, it is time for the true church of Jesus Christ to command Satan to flee and anything we are allowing in the church that is edging on the demon of lust, let us get it out now.   There are many activities in today's church that may feed the perverted minds of these pastors.  The only way for the pastor to be completely delivered is for the body of Christ to insist on a complete standard of holiness and righteousness in their church.  However, the pastor should be the one to change the course of the modern day church that is allowing an atmosphere of, "anything goes".   So, we must include in our prayers for our pastors and other church leaders to completely abstain from wickedness in the world and leave it out of the church.   Let us insist on our pastors being more of an example of upholding morals and values while teaching it, so that children will not have to grow up bitter, angry and confused.   Although, this case with Pastor Tommy Daniels molesting these two girls years ago, he allegedly went on with his life not really considering their emotional state.  However, it came back up, because they allegedly and obviously were not able to move on and forget what happened to them.

Two sisters testified Tuesday that a Baptist preacher on trial for 12 counts of child molestation sexually abused and degraded them in his Citrus Heights home eight years ago.

"Yes," the older girl, now 14, said, in a nearly inaudible whisper, in a courtroom where 32 strangers stared at her when she was asked if Tommy Gene Daniels touched her in her private areas.

The answer, if the Sacramento Superior Court jury believes it, establishes the girl as the second victim in the trial of the 49-year-old defendant who is still listed on the First Baptist Church of Rio Linda website as its pastor.

When Deputy District Attorney Kimberly Macy asked for some of the details of the act, the girl replied, "I don't want to remember."

"I've tried to block it out," she said.

She was followed to the witness stand by her 13-year-old sister. The younger girl testified tearfully that Daniels made the two of them take off their clothes, lie down on the floor in a closed room and apply substances to their bodies while he sat in a chair and watched.

Prosecutors say the older girl was placed in Daniels' foster-care home in August 2003 and the younger girl in November of the same year. They say the acts took place sometime between then and December 2004, when their adoptive parents removed them from the Daniels residence on Wapiti Place in Citrus Heights.

Defense attorney Michael L. Chastaine, who has declared his client innocent of all charges, harshly attacked the first girl's credibility. In his first question to her, he stood at the lawyers' lectern and asked, "It's a lot of work to lie, isn't it?"

Chastaine suggested in his questioning that the girl's imagination...Read full article here.
