Iowa-Nebraska NAACP leader can't back gay marriage: Rev. Keith Ratliff Sr. Is a True Man of Holiness, Not Many In The Black Church

The pastor of Maple Street Baptist Church says no to gay marriage and says completely yes to God.  This true man of God is revealing how much he honors God's desire for marriage to just between one man and one woman.  We think Rev. Keith Ratliff's standard for true holiness really says a lot to the body of Christ.   The NAACP leader of Iowa-Nebraska is certainly not a coward, but he a true warrior for the Lord.  This is the type of man (or woman) God is looking for to lead people into righteousness and not into a spirit of carnality.  The average preacher of the black church whom is agreeing on same sex marriage seems as though they are not living righteous lives, if they were they would not support homosexuality that offends God, according to various scriptures found in His Word.

Many of you ministers whom are backing gay marriage are offending God.   What type of God do you think He is?  Do you think He is just going to allow you to continue to pastor and mislead your congregations?  Absolutely not.  If you are backing gay marriage, you are in big trouble with God, because you are placing man above Him.   It is such a shame many preachers in the black church are in their positions for other reasons than to win souls for God and when you win them, it means you are preaching complete holiness to get them delivered from sin, nothing else.  Respectively, we would like many of you preachers in the black church to learn how to be strong men of God like Keith Ratliff, Riva Tims, Prophet Carn, Bishop Harry Jackson, and others.   We do not have time to care more about how President Obama feels, we have to honor and respect how God feels, because He created us, not President Obama or anyone else.  It is time to avoid focusing on civil rights issues and only focus on God's issues.

Do you see how Rev. Keith Ratliff is publicly standing up for what is right?  Do you see how he is not afraid to oppose President Obama's support for same-sex marriage?   It is God inside of this man's soul who has given him the courage and guiding him to be a true warrior for Christ.  Many of these preachers in the black church are afraid to stand up for what is right, because obviously they are not living holy lives.  Their personal lives are crossing over into the Devil's territory, so it means there is a great possibility they are living double lives.   It is men like Rev. Keith Ratliff's we are suppose to follow, not men whom are letting go of God's expectations for his original plan for marriage between one man and one woman, just for recognition.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) --- The president of the Iowa and Nebraska conference of NAACP branches says he's struggling with the group's national board resolution to support same-sex marriage.

The Rev. Keith Ratliff Sr. told The Des Moines Register that Saturday's endorsement has made him uncertain about his future with the group. Ratcliff is one of 64 members of the national board of directors for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Ratliff, of Maple Street Missionary Baptist Church in Des Moines, has long opposed same-sex marriage.

"Marriage equality, for me, is between a man and a woman, period," he told the Register on Tuesday. "There is no other definition for me."

Ratliff didn't attend Saturday's leadership retreat in Miami, where the board voted to back a resolution supporting marriage equality...Read full article, here.
