Burger King Fired Pentecostal Teen, Ashanti McShan for not wearing pants: Shouldn't the (Black) Church Return to Obeying Dueteronomy 22:5?

Pentecostal teen of Grand Prairie, Texas was allegedly fired form Burger King, because she refused to show up for work in pants.    Seventeen-year-old Ashanti McShan claims when interviewed by another employee, she was told she would be able to wear a skirt to work.   We think very highly of this teen, simply because many teens in the black church and any other church are not biblically trained and are allowed to dress anyway they please, even in the house of God.   Many preachers are preaching 'it is not what you wear, but it is what's in your heart,' but we have more cases of child molestation and sexual immorality in this era of the church, more than ever.  Evidently, Ashanti McShan goes to a full gospel church that is preaching holiness, according to biblical standard.

In Deuteronomy 22:5 the Bible clearly states, 'The woman shall not wear that which pertains unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are an abomination unto the LORD your God.'   We are living in an age where many teen girls and teen boys are changing their sex, it is ludicrous for today's church to ignore that scripture.   It would be a good idea for a new breed of ministers to rise, so we can return to complete holiness in the the church and teens can be obedient like this young lady, Ashanti Mcshan who was not ashamed to be different in the workplace.   We need strict discipline among our youth and to avoid such false doctrines that try to excuse why there should be no dress code.  This young lady has proven God wants women to be distinct from men in their attire and the same thing goes for the men.  You see, this is why we have so much rebellion in today's church when it comes to the subject of sexuality, because most preachers are not preaching to be holy and dress, according to God's Word. This is the time when the youth within the church need to depart from unsaved youth in the world, some whom are changing their sexual identity and being allowed to cross-dress.  In the age when many youth are questioning their sexual identity, why not return to obeying God's commandment in Deuteronomy 22:5?

Therefore, Ashanti McShan should win her lawsuit and be given her job back, for she is indeed a child of God and her religious belief should be respected without prejudice.  In the meantime, we are praying for her to remain strong and also pray for God to intervene in her case against Burger King.
